The International Conference on Preparedness, Response and Cooperation in Accident Prevention and Control of Hazardous and Toxic Substances was held at the headquarters of IMO in London from March 9 to March 15, 2000, where the 44th Session of MEPC was held concurrently. IMO passed the “2000 Protocol on Response, Cooperation and Cooperation in Accidents of Hazardous and Noxious Substances” (2000 HNS Protocol).
