唐代的五言律诗定型时间尚存争议。《次苏州》是李乂现存诗作写作年代最早的五言律诗。考察其声律特点之后进而发现,他的41首近体诗都完全符合格律,因此这一首诗就有了声律研究的不寻常的意义,可以推定五言律诗的声律形式在此之前已经确定。再将它与写作年代相当的其他诗人的作品加以联系,便形成了高宗朝后期至武则天朝前期大量的诗歌完全符合格律的连环论据。还可得知彼时的诗歌声律理论不仅对宫廷诗人有影响,而且已经扩展到京城之外,格律已经成为诗人群体共同遵循的固定格式,因而可以论定这一时段为五言律诗定型的时间,而不是迟至武则天朝后期。
The five-character law of the Tang dynasty stereotyped time remains controversial. “Suzhou Times” is the earliest five-character law of Li’s poetry writing. After examining its acoustic characteristics, it is found that his 41 near-body poems are completely in conformity with the law, so this poem has the unusual meaning of phonological research. It can be inferred that the phonological form of the five-character verse has been determined before that . Linking it with the writings of other poets of the same writing age, it formed the circular argument that the large number of poems in the early period of Emperor Gaozong to the early days of Empress Wu fully complied with the law. It is also known that the theory of poetic rhythm of poetry not only influenced the court poets, but also extended beyond the capital. The ritual has become a fixed format commonly followed by the poet’s group, so it can be concluded that this period defines the five-character rhythm Time, not late Wu Zetian late.
