1906年光绪三十二年(丙午)1岁10月30日(农历九月十三日),生于福建省霞浦县城东后街(现霞浦县万贤后街56号)。名寿,字介眉、戒微。1911年宣统三年(辛亥)6岁入霞浦县立第一高等小学国民部一班(今霞浦实验小学)读书。1914年民国3年(甲寅)9岁霞浦县立第一高等小学毕业(三年小学)。1915年民国4年(乙卯)10岁入霞浦县女子高等小学(中学部)读书、其父游学诚为该校校长。1919年民国8年(己未)14岁霞浦县女子高等小学(中学部)毕业。这年暑假受“五四”运动影响,由校长游学诚带领,到霞浦西郊塔岗寺进行抵制日货爱国宣传。毕业后生肺炎在家休养一年。1920年民国9年(庚申)15岁9月考入福建省立女子师范学校读书,受业于邓仪中先生。每日晨起必习颜
