Intra-tubal irrigation during surgery is an important part of any infertility procedure. Several techniques have been described previously, including trans-uterine injection with a Buxton or Shiodkor clip to close the lower uterine segment, transcervical injection with a Hume uterine insufflator or pediatric Foley’s catheter. This article reports the authors recently observed 5 F catheter for hysterosalpingography and intraoperative staining results. The catheter consisted of a 5 F polyethylene tube, 30 cm long, with 1.5 ml balloons and lateral holes in the distal end, two extensions at the proximal end, one for balloon inflation and the other for injection of matrix. There is a 20 cm long hard replacement sheath between the distal part of the extension and the proximal part of the balloon. Catheter disinfection in the vagina without holding the hook or dilatation of the cervix can be placed by the cervix. When the surgical field is covered, a 50 ml syringe fitted with methylene blue and a 40 cm long polyethylene extension tube are connected to the guide
