The 6th International Conference on Measurement of Mines was held in the UK from September 9 to 13, 1985. There are 356 delegates from 24 countries. The purpose of the conference is to promote research and exchange, disseminate knowledge and information, and develop technologies and equipment related to mine surveying. The theme of this session is “Science and Technology for Measuring Mine Development.” China’s Ministry of Coal sent Taohua Xue, Wang Jinzhuang, Lu Feiyue, Gao Defu and other comrades to participate.
