Broadband Alliance released the second edition of “China Internet Online Video Experience Evaluation Report” (the second quarter of 2017). The report shows that in the second quarter of 2017, the national Internet online video average catagory rate was 0.09%, that is, playing an average of 0.5 minutes of video for a 10-minute video. The average delay for the first time playing is 895ms, that is, after the user clicks to start playing, the video picture appears on average in one second. In terms of website testing, Mango TV and LeTV video had the lowest average cache rate of 0.01%; LeTV video had the best first-time playback delay of 616ms.
