家庭问题已经成为当今世界关注的热点。在日历揭开到1994年的时候,各国人民进入了一个新的年代,这就是国际家庭年。自1980年以来,联合国大会、经济及社会理事会和社会发展委员会一直在审查有关家庭的问题,并迫切需要在关于家庭问题方面有更大的国际合作,以作为全球推动社会进步和发展的努力的一部分。为此第44届联合国大会于1989年12月8日一致通过第44/82号决议,宣布1994年为国际家庭年。国际家庭年的目标是:增加各国政府和私营部门对家庭问题的认识;加强拟订、执行和监察家庭政策的国家机构;增强地方、区域和国家执行家庭方案工作的效率;改进国家的和国际的非政府组织的协作;增进持续进行有利于妇女、儿童、青少年、老年人和残疾人的国际活动:“家庭:变化中的资源和责任”是这次国际家庭年的主题。
Family problems have become the focus of attention in today’s world. When the calendar was opened in 1994, the peoples of all countries entered a new era. This is the International Year of the Family. Since 1980, the UN General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council and the Commission for Social Development have been examining issues related to families and there is an urgent need for greater international cooperation in family issues as a global effort to promote social progress and development a part of. To this end, the 44th session of the General Assembly unanimously adopted resolution 44/82 on December 8, 1989 proclaiming 1994 to be the International Year of the Family. The goals of the International Year of the Family are to increase awareness of family issues among governments and the private sector in all countries; to strengthen national institutions for the formulation, implementation and monitoring of family policies; to increase the efficiency of local, regional and national programs of family planning; and to improve national and international Non-governmental organizations; and the promotion of ongoing international activities in favor of women, children, adolescents, the elderly and the disabled: “The family: changing resources and responsibilities” is the theme of this International Year of the Family.
