8月1日,京津城际铁路正式开通运营。我国第一条具有自主知识产权、国际一流水平的高速城际铁路——京津城际铁路,是中国铁路建设新的里程碑,拉开了中国高速铁路建设、运营的序幕。北京和天津是我国北方的两大直辖市,北京是我国的政治、文化中心,天津的定位是国际港口城市、北方经济中心,以京津为中心的环渤海地区,是我国经济发展最快、最具活力的地区之一。京津城际铁路无疑将使两地的联系更加密切,实现优势互补,进而带动环渤海经济的发展。在京津城际铁路运营后,京津间全程直达运行时间控制在30分钟内,列车最小行车间隔3分钟,城市间的铁路变为“公交化”运营。两地百姓不仅能在短时间内自由往来,异地购房的生活方式也将成为可能。这种“半小时经济圈”的新模式,将为我国区域合作树立典范。
