On December 3, Xinhua News Agency and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications co-hosted the latest international online information and technology symposium and the second annual meeting of “China’s China Network”, which was attended by the IT circles from China, the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. Over 80 well-known experts and entrepreneurs from the finance and technology fields were invited to attend the conference. Experts from Netscape, Cisco, CNN and E-Trade gave speeches on the theme of online information and technology. The “National Network” is the result of the cooperation between Xinhua News Agency and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. They visited Hong Kong in the 10 days to celebrate the return of Hong Kong to Hong Kong.
