我与邵长兴先生相识于上个世纪90年代之初。此时正是首轮修志的高潮时期。邵长兴先生1984年步入地方志行列,1988年离休。离休后依然奋斗在方志战线。在三十馀年的方志战线上,邵老潜心志苑,笔耕不辍,广交朋友,善于助人为乐,甘做人梯,老而弥笃,鞠躬尽瘁,是方志界的前辈与著名的方志学者,更是方志界的良师益友,永远是我们的学习榜样。三十馀年来,邵老为方志事业呕心沥血,为我国地方志事业的发展作出了巨大的贡献。回眸我与邵老二十七八年的交往历史,友谊的浪花泛起了阵阵涟漪。
