进入新时期以来,随着我国与世界交流的日益频繁,英语作为重要的国际交流语言受到社会大众的热捧。然而受到我国传统的应试教育制约,当前学生存在着理论知识较为扎实但英语口语交际能力极差的情况,正是有鉴于此,我国基础教育改革更为注重培养学生知识实际应用能力。初中英语作为学生接触的第一门外语,该时期英语教学不仅直接关系着学生今后更高层次的英语学习,并且是他们大胆进行英语口语交际的关键阶段。因此,为了更好的提升学生的综合能力,使他们能够更好的与新时期下社会的发展接轨,广大初中英语教师应当采取有效的措施提高学生英语口语的交际能力。本文将在结合笔者多年的初中英语口语教学经验基础上,对加强初中英语口语交际教学的原因展开论述,并据此探究提升学生英语口语交际能力的对策,以此提升学生的综合能力。 Since entering the new era, with the increasingly frequent exchanges between our country and the rest of the world, English, as an important international communication language, has been highly praised by the general public. However, due to the restriction of the examination-oriented education in our country, the present students have the situation that the theoretical knowledge is more solid but the communicative competence of spoken English is extremely poor. It is for this reason that the basic education reform in our country pays more attention to cultivating students’ practical ability of knowledge application. Junior English As the first foreign language to be contacted by students, English teaching in this period is not only directly related to students’ higher level English learning in the future, but also a crucial stage for them to boldly communicate in oral English. Therefore, in order to better enhance the comprehensive ability of students and enable them to better integrate with the social development under the new era, the majority of junior high school English teachers should take effective measures to improve students’ communicative competence in spoken English. Based on my years of experience in teaching oral English in junior high school, this essay will discuss the reasons for strengthening oral English teaching in junior high school and explore ways to enhance students’ communicative competence in oral English so as to enhance their overall abilities.
