利用栽培大豆(G.max)与半野生大豆(G.gracilis)诱变的中间材料进行种间杂交,经过F4代系谱选择,育成了主茎粗、分枝数和生物量等性状具有明显优势,根系发达,根瘤固氮力强的新型旱地豆科绿肥作物新品种——科杂1号。该品种覆盖期长(200d左右),覆盖厚度35cm以上,半蔓化匍伏生长,不缠绕树体。盛花至结荚期每公顷鲜草量37501~52580kg,是目前幼龄果园覆盖、培肥、抑制杂草、保持水土、改善果园生态环境、促进果树业可持续发展的较理想豆科绿肥作物
