轮胎式集装箱龙门起重机是一种新型的供集装箱装卸与堆垛用的专用机械设备。它与底盘车、叉车、跨运车、有轨龙门起重机等相比,具有高效快速、机动灵活、操作方便、运营费低、又能充分利用堆场等优点。为了发展我国的集装箱运输、加速集装箱码头的建设,由交通部上海港机厂和交通部水运科研所联合设计和研制了我国第一台LMJ-40型40吨轮胎式集
Tire Container Gantry Crane is a new type of container for container handling and stacking with special machinery and equipment. Compared with the chassis trucks, forklifts, straddle carriers, rail gantry cranes, etc., it has the advantages of high efficiency and quickness, flexible maneuverability, easy operation, low operating costs and full utilization of yard. In order to develop China’s container transport and speed up the construction of container terminals, the first LMJ-40 type 40-ton wheel set in China was designed and developed jointly by the Shanghai Port Machinery Factory of the Ministry of Communications and the Institute of Water Transport by the Ministry of Communications.
