高等教育自学考试是对自学者进行的以学历考试为主的高等教育国家考试,是个人自学、社会助学、国家考试相结合的高等教育形式,是我国高等教育体系的重要组成部分。《中华人民共和国高等教育法》明确规定“国家实行高等教育自学制度,经考试合格的,发给相应的学历证书”。国务院颁布的《高等教育自学考试暂行条例》中也明确规定“高等教育自学考试毕业证书获得者的待遇与普通高校同类毕业生相同”。
Self-study examination of higher education is a national examination of higher education mainly for academic examination carried out by self-educators. It is a form of higher education combining self-study by individuals, social aided study and examination by the state. It is an important part of our higher education system. The Law of Higher Education of the People’s Republic of China clearly stipulates that “the state shall implement the system of self-study of higher education, pass the examinations and issue the appropriate diploma”. The State Council promulgated the “Tertiary Regulations on Self-study Higher Education” also clearly stipulates that “the higher education self-study exam graduates receive the same treatment and ordinary colleges and universities similar graduates ”.
