Related Factors for Rock Fracture Control on a Servo Control Tester In a rigid testing machine, rock failure can be controlled when the stiffness of the test rig is greater than the maximum absolute value of the stiffness after fracture (Equation 7). However, in the servo control testing machine, the work of the feedback control system, the response time of the entire closed-loop system and the correct choice of the feedback signal determine the effectiveness of the rock fracture control. 1.
