一、流域概况滦河发源于河北省丰宁县巴彦图古尔山麓,流经内蒙古高原、坝上草原及燕山山区,往南在潘家口穿过长城入唐山地区,于乐亭县兜网铺注入渤海。河长877公里,流域面积4.49万平方公里。在潘家口至滦县之间设有桑园水文站,其控制面积3.71万平方公里。桑园至滦县站区间有支流青龙河汇入,青龙河流域面积为6500平方公里,设有桃林口水
