昌宁县位于云南省西部,属亚热带季风气候,有低热、温热、温凉、高寒4个气候带。境内年平均气温14.9℃,年降雨量1 259mm左右,无霜期253d。雨热同季,昼夜温差大,适宜大秋作物生产。玉米是我县主要种植的农作物,常年种植面积在1.52万hm2,为了进一步提升昌宁县玉米生产能力,做好品种的更新换代,2015年昌宁县种子管理站通过引种试验,客观、公正、科学地评价了引进的杂交玉米品种在我县的适应性、丰产性、抗逆性、品质及其利用价值,为我县新品种推广提供科学依据。
