引言 太古代块状Cu-Zn硫化物矿床的一个重要特点就是它们密切与长英质火山岩伴生。这种伴生关系据认为是成因上的,并成为多数勘探计划的基础。遗憾的是,勘探区长英质火山岩的存在并不保证勘探的成功,因为它们中很多是无矿的。如果找到某种方法可以区分含矿与不含矿的长英质火山岩系列,或者作为可能的靶区可以剔除某些岩石类型,那么勘探公司就可将其注意力集中到最易成功的地区。
Introduction An important feature of the Archean monolithic Cu-Zn sulphide deposits is their close association with the felsic volcanic rocks. This accompanying relationship is believed to be genetic and forms the basis of most exploration programs. Unfortunately, the presence of the exploration area’s chiefly British volcanic rocks does not guarantee the success of exploration because many of them are mine-free. If one can find a way to distinguish between a series of long-magmatic volcanic rocks that are both ore-bearing and non-ore-bearing, or if certain rock types can be excluded as a possible target, then exploration companies can focus their attention on the most successful areas.
