电磁波通过湿物时的衰减和相移与物体中水重和干重之间的关系已经被用来计算物体的湿度值。这一结果看来与物体的密度、层厚及表面平滑度无关。当与单参量的测试设备相比时,连续测试的测量设备需要作某些扩充,但它仍然只需要一个工作在固定频率上的振荡源及一个传感器。理论上的考虑已被传送带上传送砂的实验所证实。文中还讨论了这一方法的测量缺陷和限制。
The attenuation and phase shift of the electromagnetic wave as it passes through the wet object has been used to calculate the object’s moisture value in relation to the water weight and dry weight in the object. This result appears to be independent of object density, layer thickness, and surface smoothness. When compared with single-parameter test equipment, the continuous test of the measuring equipment needs some expansion, but it still only needs one to work on a fixed frequency of the oscillation source and a sensor. Theoretical considerations have been confirmed by experimentation with conveying sand on conveyor belts. The paper also discusses the measurement limitations and limitations of this method.
