《人民日报》的编辑慧眼识真金,把一些地方报纸上二、三百字的短新闻(当然是好新闻),也选中加以转载,并放在一版上加上花边,醒目处理。这就是我们在十一月三日和七月八日《人民日报》上看到的两则花边新闻:《“傻老魏”退款》和《王世桂搬家》;还有一则是七月九日的新华社电讯稿《农民谢振华奉还女儿助学金》。这三则短新闻可作为人物新闻来读,可作为新闻故事来读,甚至也可作为新闻小特写来读。三则新闻写得生动活泼、含义深刻,在当前清除精神污染、宣传精神文明的报刊阵地上,无疑是引人注目的小花。从写作上来看,有以下几个特点: 一是能够以小见大。这三篇报道都很短,写的
