贝科夫在战争题材文学中,打破了原有的战争题材在创作思想方面所固守的“战争原则”模式,而从“道德”方面去挖掘英雄形象。他在小说中重点描写了战争中道德因素在促使主人公建立功勋方面所起到的作用,从而给英雄行为的衡量赋予了新的标准,告诉我们“英雄行为”是“道德”日积月累的必然结果。贝科夫作品中的英雄人物是无名的,但是作家贝科夫往往通过极度艰苦的环境和生死考验来揭示主人公的内心世界,彰显英雄人物的精神力量——那就是强烈的爱与恨、高度的责任感和坚定的信念。本文就以20世纪70年代贝科夫初期的作品《方尖碑》《索特尼科夫》《活到黎明》为例分析其战争小说中的英雄形象。
