Edited by Professor Sun Bingying and compiled by the nine universities and colleges. The Outline of World History was published in July 1985 by Jilin Wenshi Publishing House. The book points (part of ancient history of the Middle Ages), in (part of modern history), under (part of modern history) three volumes. Professor Wu Yuanyu of Wuhan University wrote a preface for the book. The book is concise, focused and popular. It absorbs some new research achievements both at home and abroad and appropriately increases the content of the economic, cultural and scientific history.
