类风湿性关节炎患者出现对称性下肢神经系统症状时应考虑合并脊髓亚急性联合变性可能。类风湿性关节炎在治疗过程中因多种原因引起维生素代谢紊乱可并发脊髓亚急性联合变性,故在抗风湿治疗过程中口服维生素B12、叶酸可以起到预防脊髓亚急性联合变性的作用。
