This paper introduces the basic concepts of creativity, discusses the basic trends of the development of creativity, analyzes the situation of offering creative courses in higher education at home and abroad, and points out the necessity of setting up creative courses. In view of the unique perspective of creative science, this paper proposes the countermeasures and enlightenment of cultivating creative students in higher vocational colleges.
