In recent years, Chinese grammar research has continuously blended with relevant research fields, absorbing the methods and concepts of other disciplines and expanding the breadth and depth of the research. Here we introduce the study of Chinese discourse grammar from the perspective of interactive linguistics. Interactional Linguistics is a new discipline which is based on functional linguistics, discourse analysis and pragmatics. It is a further development of functional linguistics.
