1905年(光绪三十一年)8月20日,中国同盟会在日本东京成立,山东最初加入者有十余人,徐镜心被指定为山东主盟人。到本年年底,山东加入同盟会的人数达到73人以上。10月6日,山东、江苏、直隶3省京官举行会议,要求废除与英、德签订的津镇铁路借款单合同,收回自办。3省留日学生此间连续发表文章,反对外人侵我路权。 1905 (thirty-one years Guangxu) August 20, the Chinese Alliance was established in Tokyo, Japan, Shandong initially joined a dozen people, Xu Jingxin was designated as the main league in Shandong. By the end of this year, the number of people joining the league in Shandong reached 73 or more. On October 6, the officials in Shandong, Jiangsu and Zhili Provinces held a meeting to demand the abolition of the contract for the loan book of Jinzhen Railway with Britain and Germany to be resold. The three provinces’ Japanese students here published articles in a row that opposed outsiders from violating the right of way.
