This paper describes the plow coal working mechanism in a variety of floor rock and coal grinding conditions on the life of experimental results. The wear value of the plow base and the plow head support is taken as a function of the friction distance, the index of abrasiveness of the base plate and the coal seam and the resistance of coal intercepting in the working area of the plow head, and its regularity and calculation formula are revealed. The article also proposed a structure that can improve the reliability of the working mechanism by using the replaceable supporting boots.
