陈岱孙先生是我国著名经济学家。半个多世纪以来,他为祖国培养了许多经济理论与经济建设人才。他坚定的爱国之心,严谨的治学精神,渊博的知识和深邃的见解,诲人不倦的高尚师德,赢得了人们的尊重与敬佩。陈岱孙先生在教学与研究中,自觉运用马克思主义经济学的基本原理,结合我国社会主义建设和改革的具体实践,科学评析西方经济理论,表现了一名经济学者和理论教师的优良品格与极高的马克思主义理论素养,为高校理论教师树立了榜样。1989年11月29日,北京大学经济学院举行了陈岱孙先生90诞辰暨从事教研活动65周年庆祝大会。现将北京市经济学总会会长宋涛教授、北京市外国经济学说研究会会长陶大镛教授分别代表两会在大会上的发言摘要刊登如下:
Mr. Chen Daisun is a famous economist in our country. For more than half a century, he has trained many economic theories and economic construction talents for the motherland. His firm patriotism, rigorous academic spirit, profound knowledge and profound insights, tireless noble virture, has won people's respect and admiration. In teaching and research, Mr. Chen Dai-sheng conscientiously applied the basic principles of Marxist economics and the concrete practice of socialist construction and reform in our country to scientifically evaluate Western economic theory and demonstrated the excellent character and extremely high level of an economist and theoretical teacher Marxist theoretical accomplishments, set an example for university theoretical teachers. On November 29, 1989, Peking University School of Economics held the 90th birthday of Chen Daisun and the 65th anniversary celebration of teaching and research activities. Professor Song Tao, president of the Beijing Municipal Economic Association, and Professor Tao Dao, chairman of the Beijing Association of Foreign Economic Studies, respectively, now publish a summary of the speeches delivered by the two conferences at the conference as follows:
