3.旋转密封通常认为旋转密封的表面速度远远超过直线式和往复式密封所受到的表面速度。还有,旋转运动是均匀连续的(没有象液压缸反向行程时那样的瞬时停顿),而且摩擦是集中在旋转轴的一个比较小的面或带上,而不是遍布在液压缸管壁或活塞杆面积上。集中的摩擦可能引起发热问题。旋转密封不允许沉重的侧面负载,也不能吸收高速旋转轴的离心力产生的震动。由于这些原因,旋转轴必须支撑在轴承上,使作用到密封内的离心力减到最低限度。
Rotary sealing Rotary sealing surface speed is usually considered far beyond the linear and reciprocating seals suffered surface speed. Also, the rotation is uniform (without an instantaneous stop as in the reverse stroke of the cylinder) and the friction is concentrated on a smaller face or band of the rotating shaft than on the cylinder wall or Piston rod area. Focused friction can cause fever problems. Rotary sealing does not allow heavy side loads, nor does it absorb the vibrations created by the centrifugal forces of high-speed rotating shafts. For these reasons, the rotating shaft must be supported on the bearing to minimize the centrifugal forces acting on the seal.
