On the morning of June 1, “Sino-German Innovation and Cooperation Forum” was held in the German capital Berlin. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and German Chancellor Merkel attended the forum and delivered speeches. More than 500 people from enterprises, science and technology, and academia from China and Germany attended the forum and held discussions on the theme of “creating new plastics together.” Yang Baojun, president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhou Jianming and Liu Chang, directors of the Wen Brocade, were invited to attend the conference. During the testimony of representatives from Germany’s Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature, Architecture and Nuclear Safety, President Yang Baojun signed a memorandum of understanding with Dr. Bell, the German international cooperation agency.
