(一)試驗計划的提出: 高县的氧化矿,主要为含銅砂岩,靠下边的矿脉表面粘附有一层孔雀石。我們先后作过5次試驗,逐步改进了炉型,配料,操作等方面的問題,但是粗銅質量还得不到改善。通过矿石分析,才发現使用的矿石品位太低,从0.66~1.78%,这是根本原因,目前发现的矿点,最高含銅6.32%,但这只是一条矿脉中不到10公分厚的一薄层,大部份是在2%以下。結合实际情况,大胆設想,提出以炭作燃料,3%以上的矿石煉粗銅,3%以下,1%以上的矿石煉冰銅的試驗計
