为了丰富群众的音乐文化生活,提高人们的音乐鉴赏与辩别能力,抵制不健康音乐的传播与污染,音协重庆分会秘书长叶语,近两三年在重庆市的七个区作了一百一十余次专题报告,直接听众达八万人次。 80年夏,在音协重庆分会筹备期中,便与市中区文化馆联合主办,举行了题为《“流行音乐”分析》的讲座,由叶语同志主讲,对当时“流行歌曲”的泛滥,开始进行抵制。
