油茶在生产上,已往多用优劣混杂的种子造林,后代变异很大,良种的扩大繁殖受到影响。遵照毛主席关于“人类总得不断地总结经验,有所发现,有所发明,有所创造,有所前进”的教导,近年来,我们用盾形芽接获得了较好的效果,成活率可达90%左右。为今后建立油茶无性系种子园,逐步实现油茶生产良种化和改造低产劣林,促使油茶速生丰产提供了技术条件。现将盾形芽接方法和工作中的一些体会介绍如下:
