Researchers at the University of Cardiff in the United Kingdom have used bioengineering to create powerful immune cells that outweigh the “killer” T cells that we produce in our body to find and destroy HIV. This super killer T-cell has evolved molecular receptors in the laboratory to allow the body to withstand the HIV that has led to the failure of our immune system to date.
