In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s great October socialist revolution, the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee General Office and the State Archives jointly held a commemorative meeting on the afternoon of October 31. At the meeting there were over 1,200 staff members and trainees of file archives, including the central authorities of the capital, various organs of Beijing Municipality, the department of historical archives of Renmin University and the first historical archives.
