构成设计源于包豪斯学院创立的一门专业基础课程,在20世纪70年代末,包豪斯现代涉及构成理念引入我国,80年代初期一些高等院校设计专业陆续开设了构成课程,经过20多年的发展,构成设计已成为我国现代设计教育中不可缺少的一门专业基础课,至今被广泛运用各个设计领域之中,占据很重要的地位。它为环境艺术设计、建筑设计、工业设计、视觉传达设计等现代设计专业提供了坚实的专业基础。
