Under the climate background of global warming, extreme high temperature events have a negative impact on the global ecosystem. The downward trend in biodiversity is one of the outstanding examples. For humans, a sudden increase in temperature has a direct impact on daily activities, worsening conditions such as cardiovascular disease and increasing mortality. In recent years, studies have shown that hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) not only serves as a regulator of hypoxia-related gene expression, maintaining the body’s oxygen homeostasis, but also in the sense of high temperature, heat stress The signal process also plays an important role [1]. This article will HIF-1α in heat tolerance process regulation and biological functions are summarized.
