On the afternoon of June 8, 2009, Xu Shexin, former vice chairman of Bengbu City, Anhui Province, was convicted of accepting bribes by Intermediate People’s Court of Suzhou City. The huge source of property was unknown. The first instance was sentenced to 14 years and 3 years of imprisonment.
