党的十四届六中全会通过的《中共中央关于加强社会主义精神文明建设若干重要问题的决议》指出:“建设物质文明关键在党,建设精神文明关键也在党”,这一论断表明了加强和改善党对精神文明建设领导的极端重要性。各级党政领导班子是贯彻党的路线方针政策的执行者,也是党联系人民群众的桥梁和纽带,在加强精神文明建设上起着极其重要的作用。因此,了解、掌握领导班子自身精神文明建设状况和存在的问题,采取有力措施加强各级党政领导班子思想作风
The “Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Several Important Issues concerning the Strengthening of the Construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilization” adopted by the 6th Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of the Party states: “The key to building a material civilization lies in the party and the key to building spiritual civilization is the party.” This assertion shows that Strengthening and Improving the Party’s Urgency for Leading the Spiritual Civilization Construction. The party and government leading bodies at all levels are the implementers of implementing the party’s line, principles and policies as well as the bridge and link between the party and the masses of the people and play an extremely important role in strengthening the building of spiritual civilization. Therefore, we must understand and grasp the leading group’s own spiritual civilization construction status and existing problems and take effective measures to strengthen the ideological style of the party and government leading bodies at all levels
