本期封面采用荷兰巴洛克画家弗美尔(Jan Vermeer,1631-1675)的作品《天文学家》,作于1668年,现藏卢浮宫。虽然生活在荷兰画派的黄金时代,人们对他的生平、师承关系及画风流变经过却知道得甚少。可以肯定他终身都在小城代尔夫特(Delft)度过,该城是荷兰历史上最早获得自由市资格的城市之一,后来因生产与中国有关的蓝陶出名而被称为欧洲的“陶都”。
This issue cover uses the work “Astronomer” by the Dutch Baroque painter Jan Vermeer (1631-1675), which was built in 1668 as the Louvre Museum. Although living in the Golden Age of the Dutch School, people knew little about his life, the relationship between teachers and students, and his style of painting. To be sure, he spent his entire life in Delft, one of the first cities in the history of the Netherlands to gain free city status and later became known as the European “Tao are ”.
