江苏淮安市在201 3年发掘了淮安市首批重要地下文物埋藏区——七里墩古墓群文物埋藏区,距七里墩战国墓不到1000米,古称“御马墩”。据了解,考古发掘工作从2013年11月初开始,其勘探和清理中小型墓葬92座,初步统计出土各类文物600余件,在古墓群现场,众多墓葬纵横交错,大部分墓葬已经被清理完毕。墓葬排列有序,呈向心结构排列,墓葬随葬品成组成对出土,从随葬品看墓葬时代早至战国末年,晚至东汉早期,跨越整个西汉时期。40号墓葬里发掘出了一把铜镜、一些青铜币和一把环手刀。其中一枚较小的钱币,是新莽时
