淮安第二抽水机站(简称淮安二站)系采用直径4.5米水泵,单机流量60米~3/秒的大型抽水站。基坑开挖深度约15米,在开挖过程中经过两次承压水处理:第一次,当基坑挖深约9米(高程约-2.0米),薄层粉质砂壤土承压水层被挖穿后,使东边170米以外的一站检修间厂房突然沉陷,墙、柱、梁和屋盖开裂。后经水泥灌浆、设置临时防渗板桩等紧急措施,险情解除较快,效果显著。第二次,预先打好的九口井抽水降压后,承压水位只能降到▽3.5米,达不到设计要求——降到▽-7.5米以下。经分析研究其失败原因,并重新打了九口深井,取得了令人满意的效果。
