复合条带夹层法是一种新设计的方法,它应用生石灰和编织物滤层来解决用粘土(包括软岩、凝灰质粘土等。下同)筑路的困难。将厚5cm(2时)的生石灰夹在两层30cm(12时)宽的滤层之中,条带水平间距2m(6.5呎)左右。由于生石灰吸水消解与排出粘土中水份这两个过程共同作用使粘土固结。这样,某一深度粘土的抗剪强度就可以由其上下的两层石灰夹层来提高。从而,使用这种粘土填筑高堤成为可能。这篇文章介绍了一段32m(105呎)高的路堤施工过程。它就使用了这种加固粘土的方法。使用效果证明了复合条带夹层法在用粘土筑高堤时是可行的。
The composite strip sandwich method is a new design method that uses quicklime and braid filter layers to solve the difficulty of building roads with clay (including soft rock, tuff clay, etc.). Quick lime sand with a thickness of 5 cm (2 in.) Is sandwiched between two 30 cm (12 in.) Wide filter layers with a horizontal spacing of about 2 m (6.5 ft).
