中国传统道德修养理论中,对于自省、改过、慎独等都非常重视,要求人们“日三省吾身”、“过则勿惮改”、“君子慎其独”,这些思想,在中国历史上产生了深远影响,有力地促进了中华民族优秀道德传统的形成和发展。在大学生思想政治教育深入贯彻社会主义荣辱观,积极引导大学生自觉地养成自律自省的意识和知耻改过的观念,使之勇于反省自己的思想和行为,明确辨别是非荣辱,自觉加强自我约束,使优秀的社会主义思想道德观念成为他们主动的人生“航标”。
