目前,许多小学生在作文写作上十分困难,写出的文章没有任何感情,文章所运用的词汇也十分贫乏,甚至有不少小学生养成了抄袭作文的坏毛病,最根溯源是因为许多小学生缺乏实际的生活体验,生活经历不丰富造成的。针对这些情况,教育界呼吁作文教学重新回归生活,希望小学生能够学会观察生活的点点滴滴,体验丰富多彩的生活乐趣,思考生活的中所发生的问题,从而书写出赋有生活气息的作文,增强作文写作能力。笔者基于叶圣陶、杜威等国内外先进教育理论的启发,提出了在作文教学上围绕生活来展开,也就生活化是作文教学的各项内容的中心。
