江苏省淮阴地区农科所在毛主席“以粮为綱,全面发展”的方針指引下,认真貫彻农业“八字宪法”。自1971年以来,积极开展春播油菜的试验示范和推广工作。1972年本所试种春播油菜“6503”0.6亩,单产236.6斤,同时在全区三十个点,300余亩地上进行示范试种,获得亩产250斤。春播油菜深受广大贫下中农欢迎。目前很多社队陆续到试种单位购种,要求多供給他们一些种子。
Under the guideline of “taking grain as the key link and developing in an all-round way”, Chairman Mao of Huaiyin District of Jiangsu Province earnestly implemented the “Character Constitution” of agriculture. Since 1971, we have actively carried out pilot demonstration and popularization of spring rapeseed. In 1972, the institute experimented with 0.6 mu of “6503” spring rape and a yield of 236.6 kg. At the same time, demonstration test was carried out on the ground of more than 300 mu in the whole area at a total of 250 kilograms per mu. Spring sowing by the vast majority of poor middle peasants welcomed. At present, many communes and brigades have successively purchased seed from experimental units and asked them to supply some more seeds.
