Translation beginners often suffer from the misconception of “equal equivalence of peer-to-peer”, and often adopt some seemingly equivalent words that cause the word to be discordant. In the view of frame semantics, this article revisits the phenomenon of unequal equivalence in translation. By comparing the differences between “lexical framework” and “cognitive framework”, we find that the “correspondence” in the lexical framework and Not necessarily translated “peer”. Therefore, the translator needs to get the maximum close to the original through mediation both inside and outside of the cognitive framework in translation.
