当今中国社会正处于转型期,一个人人参与公共生活、权利与义务一致、遵守规则、自治互助、勇于承担个人责任的公民社会正向人们走来。《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》明确提出,要“加强公民意识教育,树立社会主义民主法治、自由平等、公平正义理念,培养社会主义合格公民”。
Today’s Chinese society is undergoing a transitional period. A civil society where everyone participates in public life, has the same rights and obligations, complies with rules, and seeks self-reliance and courage to take personal responsibility is coming to people. The Outline of the National Medium- and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020) clearly states that it is necessary to strengthen education on civic awareness, establish socialist principles of democracy, the rule of law, freedom, equality, fairness, and justice, and cultivate qualified socialist citizens.
