王曼硕(1905 1985),原名王文溥,别名万石,1905年生于山东省肥城县,祖籍山西洪洞。日本东京美术学校毕业,曾任北平国立艺术专科学校教授,延安鲁艺美术系主任,东北鲁艺教授、副院长,东北行政委员会文化局局长,中央美术学院教授、副院长,民族美术研究所研究员、副所长,中国艺术研究院研究员、顾问等职,是新中国美术家和艺术教育家。王曼硕1912年就读于家乡县城小学,1918年考入济南育英中学。翌年的五四运动中,王曼硕受进步思想影响,对身处社会底层的劳苦大众有了新的了解和认识。他自幼潜心研习书法、绘画和篆刻,课余时间常去书店选购图书,几年间积累了许多碑拓、名家字帖、名家印谱和一些艺术理论书籍,为后来的艺术发展奠定了基础。王曼硕是家中长子,其父希望他继承家业,经营盐商。然而他无意从商,经历了
Wang Manshuo (1905 1985), formerly known as Wang Wenpu, alias million stone, was born in 1905 in Feicheng County, Shandong Province, native Hongtong Shanxi.
