中国油画中的民族化是中国油画区别于西方油画的关键所在。如今油画已成为我国的一大艺术形式,强有力的表达着中国人民的精神与追求,具有蓬勃的生命力。在世界政治多元化和经济全球化的时代背景下我们的文化艺术特色性越来越有必要,油画的民族化问题越来越成为焦点,于是突出民族意识,强调扎根民族的实际生活中且紧跟时代步伐,做到与时俱进促进民族艺术的新发展成为必然。中国油画的发展历程考究西方油画在中国的发展历程及其特点,大体可概括为四个阶段:
